THE PORT OF LOS ANGELES INVITES YOU TO

"EARTH DAY 2026"

SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 10 AM TO 2 PM
PRESENTED BY: THE PORT OF LA'S COMMUNITY RELATIONS &
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
DIVISIONS

Celebrate Earth Day this year with family, friends, and pets at the Port of LA's free, planet-focused event! Explore more than twenty exhibitor booths, dedicated to sustainable environmental practices both at the Port of Los Angeles and in our local community.  A Native American blessing will open the program, followed by a demonstration of our local ecosystem and the significance of keystone species with a Birds of Prey show featuring live raptors! Take a stroll around Wilmington Waterfront Promenade, where guided tours will explain how the Port transformed a previously inaccessible area into a sustainable and connected park through green engineering and drought-resistant gardens. Earth Day guests will also enjoy international dances and entertainment, including a live Earth Day-themed art project. Free, fun, and eco-friendly arts & crafts projects will be on hand for all ages.  A limited supply of free fruit trees will be available for LA City Residents, along with free mulch and compost for all attendees. Delicious local foods and snacks will be available for purchase. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. Don’t forget to bring your refillable water bottle to stay hydrated.
Parking is limited and ride-sharing is recommended. Please scroll down to view parking options near Wilmington Waterfront Promenade.
